In simple words: This is a simple X-ray of your chest taken from at least three different angles. It helps doctors see what's going on inside your chest, like your lungs, heart, and bones. You'll need to hold still while the X-ray is taken so the pictures are clear.
This diagnostic procedure involves a minimum of three radiological views of the chest to assess conditions affecting the chest, its contents, and nearby structures. The patient is positioned to focus the X-ray beam on the chest area. An X-ray machine sends a beam of radiation through the chest, and the image is recorded on a computer or special film. Dense body parts appear white, while softer tissues appear darker. The views can include anteroposterior (front to back), posteroanterior (back to front), lateral (side-to-side), or oblique (angled) views. Additional views like decubitus (lying on the side), lordotic (to visualize the lung apex), and expiratory (after exhaling) may also be performed.

- Modifier TC rule: Modifier TC is applicable when reporting only the technical component of the procedure.
