A CT scan without contrast is ordered to assess for a possible fracture., A patient with chronic leg pain undergoes a CT scan without contrast to evaluate for bone abnormalities or soft tissue masses., A CT scan without contrast is performed on a patient with a suspected infection in their lower leg to assess the extent of the infection and identify any abscesses.
