This CPT code encompasses the external electrocardiographic recording process lasting more than 48 hours but not exceeding 7 days. It involves continuous rhythm recording and storage of the data. The service also includes a comprehensive review and interpretation of the recorded electrocardiographic data by a qualified healthcare professional.

* Patient's medical history and current medications.* Detailed description of symptoms experienced by the patient (onset, duration, frequency, associated factors).* Electrocardiogram recording data.* Report of ECG analysis generated by the processing center.* Physician's interpretation of the electrocardiographic data and diagnosis.* Treatment plan formulated based on the interpretation.
