Postprocedural heart failure. This code should be used in conjunction with a code from category I50.- to specify the type of heart failure.
Example 1: A patient develops heart failure following a coronary artery bypass graft surgery., A patient experiences heart failure after a percutaneous coronary intervention., A patient develops heart failure subsequent to a valve replacement surgery.
